A very important feature of the RELAY FOR LIFE is the SURVIVOR WALK. The beginning of the Relay is marked by a VICTORY LAP taken by cancer survivors of all ages.

The Relay is a 24 hour picnic, social event, and an experience you will not soon forget. What a wonderful way to make a difference for family, friends and community members who face the threat of cancer.

The Relay is also a great way to honor those among us who have lost the battle to this dreaded disease.

We hope you will bookmark this page so you can check back occasionally and see what we are doing to get ready for the coming year.

One of the highlights of the Relay is always the Luminary Ceremony. This moving ceremony takes place at each Relay For Life. Everyone is invited to purchase a luminary in remembrance of a friend, neighbor or loved one who has battled cancer. As evening approaches, luminaries are lit to honor and remember those who have experienced cancer. Participants are encouraged to walk the track to reflect on the names displayed.  This ceremony, once experienced, will truly remain with you forever.
